For the last couple weeks we've been up in idaho, washington and oregon going to rodeos... I deleted my last post because i had a miscarriage, we were pretty dissapointed but hopefully we'll be blessed with another little one soon..We've had a couple days off so we've gotten to do some fun stuff- while we were in caldwell we got to go to this awesome waterpark which reminded me of wet n wild.. we also got a chance to go to the temple in boise.. i love getting to go to different temples they are all absolutely beautiful... I cant believe its already september, this year has gone by so fast! there is only one month left of the rodeo season!

We were blessed with another little nephew...My sister in law shelley had him a little early at like 32 weeks so he was only 3 pounds when he was born but is doing great. He has to stay in the hospital for about a month but were so grateful him and shelley are doing so awesome. Jason and i got to go to the hospital the other day and he's so small and cute.. his ankles are as big around as my thumbs!!

So much has been going on lately but we've been on the road with no internet!! Audrey and Randon (jasons brother) got married 7/29 up at the ranch in colorado. It was absolutely beautiful and so perfect, we're so happy for them . Im so excited to have Audrey as my newest sister in law. Summertime is usually the laid back part of the year when your out of school, go on vacations.. well rodeo is the exact opposite! the summertime is the busiest part of the year, i was looking at jasons calendar and he has like 14 rodeos in the next ten days! it also makes it hard because since he has lots of rodeos he has to leave me to fly to a lot of them so i miss my husband lots! they have been roping awesome so it makes it somewhat worth it. not much else going on in our lives just roping and trying to get our new condo organized and moved into and thats about it!

This weekend was the esthetics convention and it was absolutely amazing! This was my first time going cause last year i was out of town. There was everything there you could ever need or want as an esthetician. I could have spent an entire week there and still not have seen all the makeup, brushes, product, machines, beds, etc they had to offer... Anyways, it was a blast and i can't wait to go next year!

Jason and i had our two year anniversay yesterday, its crazy how fast its gone! We had lots of fun,we went to eat at a steak place in the paris, mon ami gabi, then went and stayed the night at the red rock hotel. These past two years have been quite the adventure.. I've learned and grown so much over the last two years and im so grateful to jason for teaching me so much about life, the gospel and myself. Im so grateful for an eternal marriage, it is what pushes me each day to become the perfect person so we can be together forever. I love Jason more than life and hope that he can put up with me for all the years to come!

Mad Mud Run!

Michelle and I had so much fun at our run this weekend! it was 4 miles with an obstacle each mile(6 ft wall, hay bale hurdles.. and of course the mud pit at the end) It was hard since i don't think i've ran four miles in the past 3 years... so im going to be pretty sore i doubt i'll be able to get out of bed for the next couple of days but it was completely worth it!

Its 11:30 and Jason is still out practicing roping and im bored so i thought i would blog about some random things in our life..were moving into a condo in vegas within the next couple weeks, we are still on the road all the time going to rodeos but at least all of our stuff will have a home!..it was my lil sister Alivias birthday this week but she is on her study abroad in fiji/austrailia/and new zealand, i miss her so much my heart hurts.. i've been running lately and my goal is to do a half marathon..i have 4 sweet little spirits on the way, my sister scarlet is having a little girl, my sister in law shelley is having a boy, and my sister summer is having twins( the gender is TBA).. thats all my facts of life for now!

This last weekend Jason's sister Britney got married! Jasons family owns a private golf course down in Colbert, GA and it made for the most beautiful wedding ever. We flew down on Thursday and came back Monday. Jason is pretty much a golf pro so i made him give me lessons the whole weekend. Lets just say that i have a very patient husband because it took lots of time for me to actually be able to swing and hit the ball. We had lots of fun spending time with all the family and seeing britney so happy with her new husband! It is the most beautiful place on earth down there.. i had my soon to be sister in law audrey take lots of pics for me just so you can see! Thanks AUD!

We had my sister in law Prissys bridal shower today and it was so much fun.. me and all my sister in laws got to plan it and we are so excited to see Priss so in love and so happy.... she and her fiance Jory are getting married in Georgia May 9 and were also super excited to go! Here is lots of pictures of the shower....

All the food was so awesome but the highlights were definitely the bundt cakes and the chocolate fountain.

The most entertaining part of the shower was grandma Loius...shes hilarious, while opening the presents she had a comment for every piece of lingerie... like, " all you have gotten are these little outfits, how are you going to feed him!?" or... " have you at least gotten an apron?" or "you better not be cooking in any of these outfits, your going to catch all these strings on fire!.......anyways, it doesn't sound that funny but she is the funniest!

This last weekend was the timed event in Guthrie, OK, Jason wasn't entered but his brother randon was, it was his birthday so the family all flew out to spend the weekend together and we all had lots of fun. The family all lives in different places, some in texas, logandale and roosevelt so its hard for everyone to get together, weston and shelley weren't able to come and we missed them but it was awesome to get to spend some time with everyone else!

We get to drive back to san antonio today because Jason and Austin made it back for the finals! this is a pretty big deal cause if you win you get $12,000! Its such a fun rodeo because they rope in the AT&T center where the spurs usually play so its huge and the people in san antonio love it. It's been especially fun this year cause they have done super good. After they rope tonight we will be headed off to tuscon, AZ where they rope on monday, tuesday, and wednesday and then we get to head back to vegas for a couple of weeks! For the past couple weeks we've been to lots of rodeos- ft. worth texas, rapid city south dakota, salado texas, and san antonio.. Jason's brothers live in dublin texas so when we have a couple days off we get to come down here which is so nice cause we get a little break from being on the road.

1. I love to cook. Most people don't like to they just do it because it is a neccesity to eat but i honestly love it. Maybe because jason loves food so i love making things for him to enjoy!

2. I recently started watching grey's anatomy this season and im obsessed. every episode has some meaning or it just makes you realize how grateful you are for the health you and your family/friends have. I bought all the seasons so that i could watch them in the car since we live in ours and i can't stop. jason can't wait till im done with them so that he can have his wife back.

3. Change is super hard for me, I become attached to people and places really easy.

4. I can burp extremely loud, its pretty gross.. i should probably go to the doctor for it because it is defenitely not normal

5. Im addicted to spider solitaire. on average i play it 30 times a day.whenever im talking to my mom on the phone and giving her short answers she knows im playing it

6. Im scared of horses.. yes i know im around them everyday of my life but im still deathly afraid that im going to walk behind one and they are going to kick me.. i know i sound paranoid but people die from it all the time!

On the road.... again

The beginning of another year and we have again decided to rodeo full time. So we have packed up from roosevelt (well not really, all of our stuff is still there) and are now hitting the rodeo trail pretty hard. It's been an awesome start, Jason and his younger brother Austin are roping together and have been doing great. So if I dissapear for a while it's probably because i'm all over the place! When were not going to a rodeo we'll be at the ranch in texas or in vegas/logandale so i'll be able to update every once in a while. wish us luck!

My favorite day of the year is over but we had so much fun. We spent Christmas Eve with my family making ginger bread houses( of course ours was the best!) Then we spent christmas day opening presents with both of our families. Im so grateful we were able to spend the holidays with our families and have such good time!

Last night was the first round of the NFR and we had so much fun! Jason's brother Randon is in it this year and could possibly win the world so its especially fun going and cheering him on! Fragile.....

Yesterday i went to a funeral of a really close freind of jason and his family. i never met him but the funeral really touched me. He was only 29 years old with a wife and a child. It really made me step back and realize just how fragile life is, how blessed i am to have every single day here upon this earth and to cherish every moment with the people i love so much. I began to ask myself lots of questions like... If i died would my husband, family, and friends know how much i loved them? What more can i do each day to lift others and to make a difference in their lives? If i died tomorrow would i be worthy enough to end up where i want to be?( well i know the answer to that is a no, so i better not be going anywhere soon!)etc... These questions helped me come to the conclusion that i need to do better, try harder, so that if today were my last that i would have no regrets. That i could be the person that changed others lives for good and that their lives were better because i was a part of it. To my friends and family.. i love each and every one of you so unbelievably much, am so grateful to have you as a part of my life, and would do anything in this world for any of you!

First of all I have lost the cord that connects my camera to my computer so i can't put any pictures up and im pretty upset about it! All i have to say is that i had the best halloween... maybe because it couldn't get any worse than last years. We were going to school in Virginia and we lived in some apartments where i always saw kids waking around. So being my first year married i was so excited to get trick or treaters and hand out candy. I bought sooo much candy and waited on my couch for all the kids i was expecting, well i waited all night and not a single trick or treater! Thats probably why this year was such a success to me.. i had so many trick or treaters!! this all sounds so dumb but it made my year.. me and jason had so much fun seeing all the kids fun costumes and passing out candy

Jason has a rodeo in Oklahoma this weekend so we had to drive down to logandale to get his horses. This means that we've been able to be with our families which we love.. we went to my traditional birthday dinner and of course i choose to go to cheesecake factory cause its one of my favs.. heres some pics

Jason's fantastic Birthday decorations!

Yesterday was my birthday and thanks to my amazing husband, and lots of family and friends i had such an great day! I was a little sad on saturday because it was the first birthday of my life that i didn't get to spend with my family but Jason more then pulled through. On Saturday we went to Vernal and he took me shopping, out to eat and to the movies. On sunday while we were at church he went home and decorated and got my cake out and when we got home i was so surprised.. he then cooked some steaks and invited our sister in law shelley and our two neices over along with our friends Jade & Maclee to eat. I am so blessed to have such great friends and family thank you for every phone call and text! thank you also to my sweet husband who put in so much time and effort to make it such a great day!

So i've been trying to find a job to keep me busy ever since we moved to roosevelt but it was hard for me to find one since we were always gone to rodeos and other places. SO then someone told me that i should substitute teach, i got all the information about it and i went and filled out all the paperwork. i was then just waiting for a teacher to call me to sub.. well it happened! i was called and i subbed at the junior high on friday for a 7th and 8th grade class. i was so nervous, but it ended up being great! i'll now be subbing whenever i can and i couldnt be more excited.

After that my friend Maclee had bunko and it was so much fun..it was halloween themed and we all dressed up like witches! everything was decorated so cute and everyone had a blast, thanks maclee for such a fun time

We left Roosevelt 2 weeks ago and were only supposed to be gone 3 days and ended up staying in Logandale for a week and a half and had so much fun! Jason had rodeos in St. George and Pahrump, he worked in Vegas while we were there, We got to hang out with both of your families including my nephew Jesse's 3rd birthday party, and went to Casie Bleazard and Derek Jolley's wedding reception. It was so good to go home and see everyone and we can't wait untill next time!

Temple date!

We had the great oppurtunity of going to the temple last night. We live in Roosevelt, Ut which is like a half hour from Vernal and this is the temple in Vernal! Growing up in Vegas the temple is so close you don't realize what a blessing it is. When we lived in Virginia, the closest temple was in Washington, DC and it was 4 hours away which isn't that bad because alot of people in other countries have to travel for days to go to the temple.. I am so grateful to have a temple so close!

My little sis alivia moved up to Provo last week and im so excited! now she only lives two hours away from me! It seems like yesterday we were playing dress up and trying on my moms makeup and now she's this wonderful, beautiful, and extremely smart girl. She's my best friend and i love her so much!

After going to provo we drove up to salt lake and went to temple square. The Salt lake city temple is the most beautiful temple by far becuase of the sacrifice that was put into building it...

This is our love Sugar, she's a maltese.. we've had her for four months now and she is the funnest dog in the world and me and Jason love her so much. Both of us aren't even a dog fan but jason rodeos and works alot so im home alone a lot and she keeps me so much company! its pretty pathetic cause i can't even leave her for like a day without worrying if she's ok! but untill i have child, she's my baby for now!

I'm finally home in utah and got my internet to work! These last couple weeks have been crazy busy! First i went to vegas for one of my best friends weddings then to georgia to vist my grandparents, aunts, and cousins and while we were down there we went to panama city beach florida, and for the last couple days we've been driving all night to go to rodeos!

vegas- I can't even explain how much fun i had with my best friends. They have been such a blessing in my life and i really don't know where i would be without them. Rachel is one of them and married Spencer Orr on august 9. I am so happy for rach, she is such an awesome person and deserves all the happiness in the world!

Georgia- My mom is from Columbus, GA so I've gone back there almost every summer of my life to visit my grandparents and family there, its always been my 2nd home. I love my grandparents so much and its always to hard to say bye to them when i have to leave because i never know if its the last time i'll see them. My Grandfather has been such a blessing in my life because he was my priesthood example growing up, he would give me a blessing every year before school started and even gave me my patriachal blessin, he such an amazing man. My grandmother is absolutely hilarious and has the sweetest heart in the world. My family was down there also and it was so fun to spend time with them since i don't see them that often anymore.

Florida- Almost every summer when i visit my grandparents we drive down to florida to go to the beach. It is my favorite place in the world! Its so pretty, the water is so warm, the waves are so fun and the sand feels like powdered sugar. Jason had rodeos so he couldn't go to georgia but he flew down to florida for a couple days and we had so much fun playing in the ocean, building sand castles and spending time with my family.

This weekend was crazy busy but we had tons of fun! Jason had 4 rodeos in 3 days... Preston ID, Grace ID, Twin Falls ID, and Heber City UT... we didn't have a rodeo on Friday so we got to go to this place Lava Hot Springs and go tubing down this river, it was the funnest thing I've done in so long! You just rent these tubes and drive to the top of the river and go down these little waterfalls and rapids and try to stay on your tube.We travel with his partner Jade and his wife Maclee so we always have a couple to hang out and do fun things with. Theres nothing like this in vegas so its awesome to travel to different places and try new things... we had fun at the rodeos but this was definitely the highlight of the weekend!

This is our new cutie little town home ( ours is the one on the left) and i absolutely love it to death! it has 1 1/2 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms( our bedroom, my facial room, and jason's hobby room). Maybe if i decorate in this lifetime i will show pictures of the inside, but that probably won't happen anytime soon... im very excited about it because if anyone knows me and jasons life, we have moved around a bunch and this is pretty much the first place we can call home... we now live in Roosevelt, Ut its 2 hours from provo.. its pretty small but its nice, theres a couple gas stations, an arby's, pizza hut, subway, and thats about it!!!
